UPCOMING EVENT: Great Women by Great Girls
An oral history touring exhibition increasing understanding between generations of women. Girls from East Fremantle Primary School will record the memories of elderly female residents at Hilton Aged Care Home.
Dates: 21 Oct - 21 Nov 2013 (coinciding with Fremantle Festival)
Venue: Fremantle City Library (on to Hub Library, Cottesloe)

Students go snorkelling on 'wreck'

Students from Mosman Park's Beehive Montessori School put on snorkels and masks for a simulated wreck dive. The school grounds were transformed into a scene from Time Team as students from Years 4, 5 and 6 took part in the Museum of Moving Objects' three-hour workshop, Annexation and Commemoration – Dirk Hartog Island. A time team took more than 75 students from Mosman Park's Beehive Montessori School on a journey through their ancestors' world. Archaeologists from the Museum of Moving Objects (MOMO) helped students from Years 1, 2 and 3 dig up WA history from the 1900s through to 2000. Read more...
